When Takeaway Growth Agency moved into Merseyway Innovation Centre in November 2025, the team were looking for more than just office space. As a fully remote business, they wanted a central location where staff could collaborate in person, share ideas more effectively and build stronger foundations for future growth.
Less than a year later, the move has helped transform the way the business operates. Alongside bringing the team together, Merseyway’s in-house business support has helped the company refine its identity, strengthen its proposition and prepare for its next phase of growth.
Key Outcomes
- Moved from a fully remote operation to a collaborative office environment
- Improved teamwork, communication and idea sharing
- Successfully rebranded to better reflect the business’s services
- Benefited from strategic business support and mentoring
- Built strong foundations for future growth and recruitment
A recipe for success
Takeaway Growth Agency was established to solve a growing challenge within the food delivery market. While third-party ordering platforms offer convenience and visibility, they often come at a cost, with commission fees that significantly reduce restaurant margins.
The business was built to offer takeaway businesses an alternative. By combining its own ordering technology with a full-service marketing offer, Takeaway Growth Agency enables restaurants to take back control of their customer relationships and revenue streams.
Kyri Karsa, founder of Takeaway Growth Agency, said: “Our approach goes beyond simply providing an ordering platform. It includes improving search visibility, managing online reputations, running targeted campaigns, and building loyalty schemes that drive repeat business.”
As the company’s client base continued to grow, the team recognised the need for a dedicated workspace where they could collaborate more effectively and support their long-term ambitions.
Bringing ideas to the table
With employees previously spread across the country, collaboration across the Takeaway Growth Agency team was mostly limited to online interactions. The decision to move into Merseyway was driven by a shared desire to start doing things differently.
Kyri said: “Having a central, well-connected location has changed our dynamic. The office has made it easier for the team to meet regularly, share ideas and work more closely on projects, and we’re coming up with ideas that are helping our clients work more efficiently and drive more revenues.”
The benefits haven’t been limited to the internal team. Being part of a wider community of ambitious businesses has also created valuable opportunities to learn from others and build new connections.
Kyri said: “There’s no denying the benefits of the day-to-day exposure with other growing companies at Merseyway. Working here has created opportunities for better knowledge sharing, new perspectives, and fresh introductions we’d never have been able to make previously. Being here is making us more cohesive as a team and improving our own foundations for growth.”

A menu for growth
Alongside access to workspace and a thriving business community, Takeaway Growth Agency has also benefited from Merseyway’s in-house business support, led by Innovation Director Naomi Timperley. As the business continued to grow, Naomi encouraged the team to take a step back and reassess how the company was positioned in the market.
“Naomi spotted the most significant thing we could do to drive our business forward was a rebrand,” said Kyri. “We previously operated under a different name that didn’t really reflect what we did. She helped us to step back and reassess how the business is positioned, with exercises that really offered us some clarity.”
The rebrand proved to be more than a simple name change. It helped create a clearer proposition for prospective customers and gave the team greater confidence in how they communicated their services. “That clarity has filtered through into other areas too, from messaging to internal decision-making, helping align the team around a more defined proposition,” added Kyri.

Looking Ahead
With the foundations now in place, Takeaway Growth Agency’s focus is firmly on scaling. By keeping development, sales, and marketing in-house, the business is retaining control over its offer while allowing it to move quickly and test new ideas – with new brains on board.
Kyri said: “Our next growth phase will centre on refining our processes, using data more effectively, and continuing to improve results for our clients. We want to grow the team to between 10 and 15 people, too, while maintaining our agile structure which we find keeps us most effective.”
With a clearer identity and a more connected way of working, Takeaway Growth Agency is well positioned to build on its early success. Their story demonstrates how the combination of flexible workspace, expert business support and a collaborative community can help ambitious businesses unlock their next stage of growth.
