We like to think we support a community of businesses here at SBIC who are mutually supportive, and this is so clearly demonstrated by a recent story we heard.
Dave Roe from one of our longer standing customers, Film My Match, happened to be in the centre on a Saturday and bumped into Nathan Stubbs from Conscious Travel. Due to expansion Nathan had moved his business into the centre in February, anyway the two got talking and it turned out that Dave had travel and accommodation to organise for teams of camera operators they were sending to venues across Europe (including Sweden, Armenia, Cyprus and Lithuania) to film high profile international football tournaments.
Once the connection was made and Nathan had some details of dates, numbers and locations he was able to access some great deals on flights and accommodation and equally importantly take that workload from him!
We thought you’d like to see one of our lovely corridors here at SBIC, pictured above!
Don’t take our word for it though, we asked both Dave and Nathan to comment…..
“My chance meeting with Nathan from Concious Travel has been great for FilmMyMatch. The expertise and bespoke support provided by Nathan and his team has saved us time and money and enabled us to focus on providing the highest possible level of service to out client. It’s a great example of how having access to such a wide range of small businesses is a key benefit to being part of the SBIC community.”
“When deciding on our new office location one of the major draws to SBIC was to be part of a business community. It has been great to work with FilmMyMatch and offer a solution for their varied travel arrangements across Europe this summer. We can help save time, money and stress on travel, so whether you have a business trip to organise or are looking for an incredible holiday experience, we would love to help, and not just SBIC customers obviously!”
We think this forms the basis for a great, mutually beneficial working relationship….
