Our Merseyway Innovation Centre is the newest addition to the Innovate Stockport community, featuring striking modern workspaces; including offices, coworking and meeting spaces. The building is located in the heart of Stockport Town Centre, specifically within a repurposed retail unit in Stockport’s Merseyway Shopping Centre, allowing your team ease of access with numerous transport links. Naomi Timperley, Innovation Director for Merseyway Innovation Centre
To be part of Stockport Innovation which is part of the council’s ambitious regeneration plans based out of the new Merseyway Innovation Centre is incredibly exciting. As an experienced growth and innovation consultant I am looking forward to working with the businesses based at the centre and creating a community of shared learning, collaboration and growth.
Rob Kates, Centre Manager
I am really excited about the centre’s opportunity to foster a strong community and cultivate valuable relationships. The informal conversations that take place in the corridors and around the coffee machine are vital for its growth and vibrancy. I am genuinely enthusiastic about witnessing businesses supporting each other and sharing success stories resulting from the power of relationships. It promises to be a real asset to Stockport.
Gordana Maljkovic, Assistant Centre Manager
I am most excited about the impact we will create at Merseyway IC on the local business community, entrepreneurs, and professionals. It’s not just about having office space or meeting rooms; it’s about the boundless potential for creativity and collaboration that will be unleashed within those walls. I’m eager to see the innovative ideas that will spring forth, the partnerships that will be forged, and the success stories that will unfold as a result of this new centre. Being a part of this journey is truly exciting and promises a brighter future for all involved!’
Emma Husband, Centre Experience Assistant
The thing I’m looking forward to is being part of a community where we assist and help small businesses to grow to the point they have to increase office size and employees, as they become larger companies. I enjoy assisting and helping people and hopefully making their work life a little easier.
